After Sam Altman (CEO of OpenAI) rejected Elon Musk's offer to buy ChatGPT, Musk announced a new AI system called Grok 3, in competition with ChatGPT. In a recent tweet, he announced that Grok 3 will have a live demo on Monday night at 8 PM PT, claiming it to be the smartest AI on Earth. However, it’s already live and can be accessed here: grok.com.

Competition in the AI Space
Looks like Elon Musk doesn’t take “no” for an answer. First, he tried to buy ChatGPT, got turned down, and now he’s launching Grok 3, calling it “the smartest AI on Earth". Coincidence? I don’t think so.
Now, if Grok 3 is really as brilliant as they claim, I just hope it doesn’t have an existential crisis mid-conversation or start philosophizing about the meaning of life when all you wanted was a pancake recipe.
So, the real question is, will Grok 3 be the new king of AI, or just another challenger that ChatGPT watches calmly while sipping its virtual coffee?

Grok 3 vs OpenAI
Grok 3 may out-perform in specific aspects like maintaining consistency (as it is trained on custom-built Synthetic datasets). That said, I think Open AI is far ahead in terms of both breadth and depth.
Future of AI
Whoever wins, it's pointless because the war will still go on and just after a couple of weeks, another DeepSeek model is gonna cripple down the winner.
Let's see. I'm so curious to see their competition. Operations Associate at Superhuman, Financial Operations, Sales Growth, and Sponsor Relationships. Curious to see how this will turn out to be. But it's good to see more competition regardless of how better it is from the competition, it's a win-win for the end user.
