Technology giants Nvidia and Google Cloud have joined forces to introduce Agentic AI to businesses in need of enhanced security and greater data control. This collaboration enables companies to deploy Google’s Gemini AI models on-premises using Nvidia’s innovative Blackwell HGX and DGX platforms, along with Nvidia Confidential Computing technology.
The primary objective is to assist organizations that must adhere to stringent data privacy and sovereignty regulations. By leveraging Nvidia Blackwell on Google Distributed Cloud, sensitive data such as medical records or financial information remains safeguarded in accordance with local laws.
Benefits of the Collaboration
"By deploying our Gemini models on-site with Nvidia Blackwell's groundbreaking performance and confidential computing capabilities, we empower enterprises to fully utilize Agentic AI," stated Sachin Gupta, vice president and general manager of infrastructure and solutions at Google Cloud. This partnership ensures that customers can innovate securely without compromising on performance or operational simplicity.
Confidential computing provides an additional layer of security by preserving user interactions and refined data privacy, as well as preventing unauthorized access to the models.
Enhanced Capabilities of Agentic AI
Agentic AI surpasses traditional AI functions by not only responding to queries or retrieving data but also analyzing, making decisions, and taking proactive measures. For instance, in IT support, agentic AI can diagnose and resolve issues, while in finance, it can thwart suspicious transactions before they occur.
Google Cloud is introducing GKE Inference Gateway to streamline the management of AI workloads. This solution, in conjunction with Nvidia’s Triton Inference Server and NeMo Guardrails, enhances performance, reduces serving costs, and reinforces security controls.
