Meta unveils AI-powered ad tools to boost campaign performance
Meta is introducing new AI-driven tools to assist advertisers in maximizing the performance of their campaigns. These enhancements, which are set to undergo a global testing phase soon, consist of a scoring tool, automated workflows, and a lead generation objective for complete campaign automation.
Key Features:
- Opportunity Score: This new tool enables advertisers to recognize and prioritize effective campaign recommendations in Ads Manager almost instantly. It assigns a score ranging from 0 to 100 and offers personalized, actionable suggestions on how to effectively utilize Meta's AI and automation tools.
- Advantage+ Campaign Setup: Building upon the AI-optimizations of Advantage+ Shopping and App campaigns, this feature automatically activates AI optimizations for sales, app installations, and lead campaigns, while still permitting manual adjustments. Advantage+ Shopping campaigns will be rebranded as Advantage+ Sales campaigns.
- Advantage+ Leads Campaigns: Introducing a new objective for complete campaign automation, this complements the existing sales and app campaign solutions within Meta Advantage+. It is crafted to aid advertisers in generating high-quality leads more efficiently through proven AI optimizations.
Meta's head of global business, Nicola Mendelsohn, highlighted the company's confidence in AI's potential to transform advertising. These tools strive to make AI-driven optimization and personalized guidance more accessible to a wider range of advertisers.
While Advantage+ Sales campaigns offer advanced AI optimizations, advertisers have the option to deactivate them. Nonetheless, Meta points out the success of Advantage+ Shopping campaigns (now Advantage+ Sales), citing studies that demonstrate a 4x higher Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) for APAC advertising campaigns that have adopted them.
