Reliance Industries, India's largest conglomerate spanning technology and textiles, is reportedly negotiating with OpenAI and Meta Platforms to sell its AI solutions. According to a Reuters report, potential partnerships are in advanced stages.

Potential Collaboration Details

One possibility being considered is a collaboration between Reliance Jio and OpenAI to distribute ChatGPT. OpenAI has also been discussing lowering the subscription price for ChatGPT to as low as $20, making it more affordable than its current high prices. Additionally, Reliance is exploring the option of offering OpenAI's models to its enterprise clients via an application programming interface (API).

Local Hosting and Data Security

Reliance is also looking into local hosting and operation of OpenAI models to ensure that local customer data remains in India.
