Alert Types
The most popular feature of Uptrends by far is the ability to instantly and easily set custom news alerts for events affecting the stocks you care about. It has literally never been simpler to get notified about market-moving events than it is with Uptrends.
To set alerts: pick a stock or group of stocks, choose the types of alerts you want to receive, and set the frequency you want to be notified. From there Uptrends will send you an email summary of the chatter that matters.
Uptrends currently monitors and sends news alerts for the top ~5,000 publicly traded stocks in the US.

You can adjust your alert preferences in your Alerts Page. Here, you can see your active alerts for stocks, interest groups, and event types you will receive alerts for, and can add/remove each accordingly.
