Meta chief Mark Zuckerberg has been causing a stir on social media with his gold-colored chain, particularly after showcasing it in one of his Instagram videos.
During a recent revelation, the tech titan shed light on his accessory choice, revealing that the necklace bears an engraving of a prayer he sings to his daughters. The prayer, known as Mi Shebeirach, is a Jewish prayer for health and courage, emphasizing the hope to "make our lives a blessing."
Meaning Behind the Necklace
Mark Zuckerberg shared, “I sing this to my daughters when I put them to bed. It is a Jewish prayer called Mi Shebeirach and it basically a prayer for health and courage and it says 'May we have the courage to make our lives a blessing.'"
He continued, “I have sung it to them basically every night of their lives since they were born. I try to be around for bedtime and when I hang out with my kids it is meaningful for me and my family.”
The tech mogul's transparency about the sentimental value of the necklace garnered praise on social media, with one user commenting, “as he makes his life more public, we find out what a great person he is.”

Mark Zuckerberg's fashion inclinations have evolved over the years. In 2014, he disclosed in a Facebook forum his decision to wear the same T-shirt daily with the intention of minimizing decisions and focusing on community service.
Previously, when first spotted wearing a necklace, Zuckerberg mentioned it was part of his "design process" testing and highlighted the emotional significance attached to the accessory.
