iOS 18.1 was recently rolled out for eligible iPhone users around the globe, bringing the much-awaited Apple Intelligence features to iPhone users. Now, as the first set of AI tools are available for iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 series users, Apple is gearing up to release the next set of features with iOS 18.2.
iOS 18.2 has been under testing for the past several days, and according to a recent report by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple is likely to begin rolling out iOS 18.2 for iPhones in the first week of December. The Cupertino-based tech giant has already confirmed that the iOS 18.2 update will arrive in December, with a specific timeframe provided in the report by Mark Gurman.
Expanding Apple Intelligence Features
Although iOS 18.2 will introduce a variety of new AI tools, it will also bring Apple Intelligence to a wider audience globally. Currently available in US English only, Apple Intelligence will expand to localized English in the U.K., Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa with the release of iOS 18.2.
New Features with iOS 18.2
iOS 18.2 will enable iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 series users to access Apple Intelligence features such as Genmoji for creating custom emojis, Image Playground for generating custom cartoon-like images, and Image Wand for transforming rough sketches into full images in the Notes app. Additionally, Siri will receive support for ChatGPT integration.
