Google brings AI assistant Gemini's mobile app to India in 9 languages
Google has launched its AI assistant Gemini's mobile app in India, introducing it in nine languages including English, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. This mobile app provides users with the option to type, talk, or even upload an image to receive the assistance they require.
Expanding Language Support
Alphabet and Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced on a social media platform that they are adding local languages to Gemini Advanced, along with new features. The Gemini app is also being launched in Google Messages in English. Users in India can now utilize Gemini 1.5 Pro, the most advanced model, in nine different languages, as per the company's statement.
Enhanced Features and Accessibility
Google is rolling out Gemini access directly from the Google app on iOS over the next few weeks. With a 1 million token context window, Gemini Advanced boasts the longest context among widely available consumer chatbots worldwide. The company is also introducing Gemini in Google Messages to offer users another method to interact with Gemini on their mobile devices.
