Pixel 9 Series Specifications, AI Features Leaks: Tensor G4 Chipset Revealed
As the launch date of the Pixel 9 series approaches, leaks regarding the specifications and AI features of the upcoming Google phones have surfaced. The latest rumors suggest that Google will be releasing four models: Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
Pixel 9 Series Leaks
Google has officially announced that the Pixel 9 Pro Fold and Pixel 9 Pro will be launched on August 14 in India. Prior to the launch, 91Mobiles, in collaboration with OnLeaks, revealed the specifications and features of the new phones based on marketing material. The leak confirms the existence of the four aforementioned models.
According to the leak, the Pixel 9 series will be available in two grey shades, off-white, and pink. The back of the phones is expected to feature a matte finish, while the metallic sides may have a glossy appearance. The Pixel 9, 9 Pro, and 9 Pro XL are likely to come with an oblong-shaped camera module, whereas the Pixel 9 Pro Fold could sport a rectangular camera module with rounded edges.
Camera Specifications
The Pixel 9 is rumored to come with a 50MP main camera and a 48MP ultrawide lens. On the other hand, the Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL might feature a triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, a 48MP ultrawide lens, and a 48MP telephoto camera. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is expected to sport a 48MP main camera, a 10.5MP ultrawide lens, and a 10.8MP telephoto sensor. For selfies, the base Pixel may have a 10.5MP front camera, while the Pro and XL variants could include a 42MP selfie shooter.
Additional Features
Google's upcoming Pixel phones are rumored to offer seven years of software support. The Pixel Screenshots feature is said to enable users to capture and save important information such as events and locations. The lineup is also expected to include Emergency SOS functionality, Gemini AI with a Gemini Advanced one-year subscription, and other AI-powered features.
