ChatGPT Plus offers a significant upgrade over the free version of ChatGPT. Subscribers gain access to different models such as GPT-4o, o1, o3-mini, and o3-mini-high. Additionally, they can utilize GPT-4.5, currently in preview and deemed OpenAI's best model for chat conversations. The Plus plan provides faster response times, priority access during peak hours, enhanced accuracy, and supports features like image input, file uploads, and custom instructions, catering to personalized learning.
Claiming the Free Offer
To access the free ChatGPT Plus offer, students need to verify their enrollment through SheerID, a secure verification service that crosschecks against official university databases like a school’s Office of the Registrar. Students may be required to log in using their institution’s single sign-on system or upload supporting documents. Even current ChatGPT Plus subscribers who are students can avail of this offer. Upon verification, their accounts will automatically receive a two-month credit.
Eligibility and Renewal
It's important to note that not all schools may be eligible for this offer, and students must complete the verification process to confirm their eligibility. After the two-month offer period ends, the ChatGPT Plus subscription will automatically renew at the standard monthly rate unless canceled.
