About Waddle

Waddle specializes in the development and provision of 'Gentoo', an interactive AI shopping agent. The startup garnered a notable 2 billion won in Free A investment from Kakao Ventures, Bon Angels, and Fast Ventures. Furthermore, it was recognized as one of Forbes Asia's top 100 promising companies in August.

One of Waddle's flagship products is the AI agent "Gentoo," which functions as a personalized shopping assistant. Unlike conventional chatbots that offer predefined responses to FAQs, Gentoo mimics the role of an in-store sales clerk by providing tailored product recommendations to drive actual sales.

Recent Developments

In a recent advancement, Waddle unveiled the Gentoo 2.0 version, which leverages customer intentions and scenarios to deliver seamless product recommendations during conversations. Major companies in Korea such as Kyobo Life Insurance, 11th Street, and Samsung Well Story have already integrated Gentoo into their operations.
