The new voice is female and is being tested as part of a trial. Interestingly, this voice is automatically enabled without any user intervention. At the I/O 2024 event, Google unveiled that Gemini Live would offer users 10 different voices for a more natural sound. The testing phase of this feature is currently ongoing.

Google Assistant offers users 12 voices, each associated with a specific color name. It is anticipated that Gemini, the AI chatbot, will adopt a similar approach.
