The Evolution of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
For about a century, writers and filmmakers have been fascinated by the concept of machines with their own minds and thoughts. This fascination can be traced back to early depictions of invading aliens and more recently, movies like I, Robot featuring Will Smith, where android robots serve humans. In the film, one of the robots named Sonny displays the ability to think independently, experience emotions, and even dream. Released in 2004, this movie marked a significant encounter with artificial intelligence that did not involve extraterrestrial beings.
Fast forward two decades, and we find ourselves in a time where the line between the imaginary and real worlds in digital media is becoming increasingly blurred. Our relationship with technology has transitioned from merely creating tools that respond to predefined situations to developing systems that can learn and adapt on their own.

The Impact on Society
While the prospect of autonomous technology is exciting, it also raises concerns about relinquishing control to machines. Nevertheless, the drive to achieve unprecedented productivity, exceptional quality, and economies of scale has led us to embrace artificial intelligence and machine learning.
This transition signifies a paradigm shift in how we interact with technology and underscores the transformative power of AI in various industries.
