RX241Y Gaming monitor and HDR w/ Intel ARC. unable to get HDR ...
When using DisplayPort or HDMI with my RX241Y gaming monitor and Intel ARC B580 card, I encountered issues getting HDR to display as capable. Interestingly, HDR functions flawlessly with my Xbox Series X. Seeking assistance, I reached out to the Intel communities and provided a diagnostic upload for further investigation. While they are exploring the matter, they advised me to also contact Acer. Unfortunately, my monitor's warranty has expired due to the timing of purchase during the pandemic, so support from Acer is not an option at the moment. However, I have ensured that the Acer monitor driver is installed on my Windows system.

Freely Syncing Premium but No HDR Support
Although I can successfully enable freesync premium over DisplayPort using the designated primary port on the card, both the Intel software and Windows OS indicate that the monitor does not support HDR. This discrepancy has left me puzzled. Is this a common issue among other users? Is there more information available regarding this problem?
One suggestion is to check if the monitor specifies HDR support in its settings. Additionally, updating the Intel ARC B580 driver is recommended. I have already confirmed that I am using the latest driver version released just two days ago. The HDR profile on the monitor is also activated, as HDR functionality can be toggled on and off using the control on the monitor.
