DingTalk Will Open to All AI LM Manufacturers, with the First Batch of Large Models Announced

At the MAKE 2024 DingTalk Ecological Conference on June 26, DingTalk President Ye Jun made a significant announcement. DingTalk will be opening up to all large model manufacturers, aiming to build the most open AI ecosystem in China.

Among the notable large model manufacturers that have announced their access to DingTalk are MiniMax, Moonshot AI, Zhipu AI, OrionStar, 01.AI, and Baichuan AI. These manufacturers represent the first batch of large models to be accessed by DingTalk following Tongyi Qwen.

In the future, users will have direct access to seven large-scale model products, including Tongyi Qwen, on DingTalk. Additionally, these major model manufacturers will collaborate with DingTalk to explore the application of AI within various industries.

Expanding AI Ecosystem

As of the end of March 2024, over 2.2 million companies are already utilizing AI on DingTalk. The majority of AI ecosystems in the market have formed partnerships with DingTalk, showcasing the platform's growing influence in the AI sphere.

AI All-Stars Conference

The conference, themed "Make2024: AI All-Stars," brought together DingTalk's AI ecosystem partners and key figures in artificial intelligence. DingTalk version 7.6 was officially launched at the event, introducing a total of 39 functional updates. The latest version of DingTalk can now be downloaded from the official website.

Industry Developments

Moonshot AI revealed that its conversational AI assistant product, Kimi Intelligent Assistant, now supports lossless contextual input of up to 2 million words. While Kimi has seen success, concerns have been raised about potential future competition due to its relatively low technical barrier.

After ByteDance introduced the DouBao large model, Alibaba Cloud quickly responded by reducing the pricing of its main model, Qwen-Long. Moreover, OpenAI has ceased providing API services to China, prompting Chinese large model companies to initiate "relocation plans" in response.
