Apple's initial plan involves commencing testing in the United States during the summer of 2024, followed by the availability of a beta version in the fall of the same year. As per Gurman's sources, beta versions of iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1 are set to be released to developers imminently, with early Apple Intelligence testing on the horizon.

While the launch of the iPhone 16 series is expected in September 2024, speculations suggest that Apple Intelligence may not be pre-installed but could be introduced through a subsequent software update.

Apple has also established a Japanese page for Apple Intelligence, indicating plans for its availability in Japan. The page specifies that Apple Intelligence will be part of the beta version included in iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia, compatible with iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPads, and Macs featuring M1 chips or newer.
