🇲🇾 We are announcing today a US$2 billion investment to build our first Google Data Center and Google Cloud Region in Malaysia!

We are also launching two programs locally to foster AI literacy for students and educators: Gemini Academy and Experience AI. These investments estimated to support more than US$3.2 billion in positive economic impact and 26,500 jobs by 2030.

🇯🇵 Exciting news from Japan! ⚡ Following the opening of our first data center in Japan last year, we’re excited to announce today Google’s first clean energy projects in the country! The two solar power purchase agreements will help add sustainable energy to Japan’s electrical grid and significantly reduce our company’s carbon footprint in the region 🌱.
