Elon Musk is Set to Launch an AI Chatbot Rival 'TruthGPT'
Elon Musk has announced his plans to create an alternative to the popular artificial intelligence chatbot, ChatGPT. The new chatbot, called "TruthGPT," seeks to be a "maximum truth-seeking AI" that can understand the nature of the universe while avoiding the so-called "liberal bias".
Musk, known for his previous criticisms of AI, believes that an AI tool that aims to understand humanity is less likely to destroy it. He has also expressed concern about ChatGPT being "trained to be politically correct," emphasizing the need for more regulation of artificial intelligence, which he considers to be more dangerous than cars and rockets and has the potential to destroy humanity.
This is not the first time Elon Musk has expressed his concerns about AI. Recently, he signed an open letter along with other technologists, including Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, calling for a six-month halt on AI development until more government regulations were in place.
Elon Musk's new company, X.AI, was incorporated in Nevada on March 9, and he is listed as the sole director. The move comes after Musk announced his plans to set up a ChatGPT alternative.
