India's billionaire Mukesh Ambani has announced that RIL's digital arm Jio is working on building the world's best AI infrastructure in India. This news comes as a source of concern for the US, ChatGPT, and China's DeepSeek. Ambani emphasized the crucial role data centers play in the infrastructure for artificial intelligence. He revealed that Jio is currently in the process of upgrading its data center located in Kolkata.

"AI is indispensable for India's transformation into a Deep-Tech Nation with advanced manufacturing capabilities," stated Mukesh Ambani. He further added, "Jio is currently building the world's best AI infrastructure in India. It gives me great pleasure to announce today that we have modified our data centre in Kolkata to a state-of-the-art AI-ready data centre, and that will be ready in the next 9 months."

Technological Advancements in Consumer Affairs

A release from the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution highlighted a new technology-driven approach aimed at enhancing the speed and efficiency of resolving consumer issues, particularly in the education sector. This initiative has led to a significant increase in the number of calls received by the National Consumer Helpline (NCH), growing more than tenfold over the years.

According to the release, the average number of complaints registered per month has seen a considerable surge. The Department has encouraged consumers to utilize the National Consumer Helpline via a toll-free number 1915 or the web portal to address their grievances.

With these developments, the average number of grievances registered digitally has shown a notable increase, reflecting the rising confidence of consumers in the helpline. The Department's efforts have resulted in better support for consumer issues and improved accessibility for resolving complaints.
