These new cameras come with enhanced durability and cutting-edge edge AI processing capabilities. Specifically designed for extreme weather and environmental conditions, the heavy-duty Aero PTZ cameras support up to 4K resolution and are equipped with AI-driven analytics.

The Aero PTZ line now features edge computing technology, aligning with the goal of making AI advantages accessible everywhere. This model stands out as the most robust in terms of reliability and analytic power, capable of proactively securing mission-critical environments under the most extreme conditions such as hurricanes and cyclones.
With a zoom range of up to 40x, the shock-resistant and water-proof Aero PTZ cameras are IK10, MIL-STD-167-1A, and IP66/68 rated. This ensures uninterrupted video protection even during extreme weather conditions. These cameras are designed to withstand heavy salt corrosion (C5-M) and can operate in temperatures ranging from -50 to 65°C (-58 to149°F) with the help of i-PRO’s newly developed transparent glass heater.
Enhanced Features for Unprecedented Performance
The Aero PTZ boasts a robust pan and tilt motor mechanism that enables precise movement even in winds up to 270km/h (168 mph), surpassing the Saffir-Simpson wind speed rating for category-five cyclones and hurricanes. Equipped with AI-based auto-tracking, the cameras can keep persons and vehicles in focus, even in complete darkness, up to 560 meters (1,837 feet) with IR illumination.
"The Aero PTZ features the longest nighttime IR illumination among PTZs in the industry. In addition to IR, white-light illumination can be activated to deter intruders and preserve color information when needed," adds Figols.
Customizable Solutions for Varied Applications
i-PRO’s open AI development platform allows for the installation of multiple AI applications as required for the operational environment, including third-party apps. The 4K model can support up to three simultaneous AI apps, while the 2MP models can support up to two. This flexibility enables a wide range of customized solutions. For example, a salt-resistant Aero PTZ installed at a shipping port could run the latest Vaxtor OCR application to read shipping container numbers as they pass through the port, while simultaneously detecting fire and smoke using a Noema detection app.
Cybersecurity Resilience and Installation Options
For maximum cybersecurity resilience, the cameras incorporate signed firmware, brute-force protection, and FIPS 140-2 level 3 compliance with a secure element chip to safeguard against cyber threats.
The Aero PTZ is designed for hassle-free setup, featuring easy kitting, cable connectors, and a newly developed mount bracket that supports one-person installation. Flexible power options support 100-240V AC or 24V AC/DC power for virtually any installation environment. Additionally, multiple resolutions, illuminators (IR light, white light), and body colors are available to meet diverse operational needs.
Support for additional industry standards includes NEMA TS2 (Traffic), MIL STD-810-G (US DoD), IEC 62236-4, and EN 50121-4 (Railway).
