WhatsApp testing voice chat mode for Meta AI in beta
WhatsApp is currently in the process of testing a new feature that will allow users to engage in voice chats with Meta AI. This feature is being developed to enhance the user experience and provide a more interactive way of communicating with the Meta AI on the platform.
Voice Chat Options for Meta AI
According to reports from WhatsApp feature tracker, WABetaInfo, the Meta-owned messaging app is working on introducing additional voice options for Meta AI. This will enable users to have real-time voice conversations with the Meta AI directly within the chat interface.
The beta version of WhatsApp for Android (2.24.17.16) now includes support for voice options with Meta AI. Users will have the ability to customize their interactions with the Meta AI chatbot through voice commands, eliminating the need for typing messages.
Hands-Free Interaction
With the new voice chat mode, users can communicate with Meta AI using voice commands, allowing for a hands-free experience. The Meta AI will respond to these voice commands with voice prompts, providing a seamless interaction for users.
Future Rollout of Voice Chat Capabilities
While the feature is currently in beta testing with a limited number of users, Meta is expected to gradually introduce the voice chat capabilities to all WhatsApp users in future updates.
Stay tuned for more updates as WhatsApp continues to enhance its features and integrate Meta AI for a more personalized and engaging user experience.
