Cognizant Technology Solution Corp. and IBM Corp. have come together to launch a new FinOps Centre of Excellence, leveraging IBM's FinOps software and Cognizant's cloud and developer platforms. This global centre is set to utilize Cognizant's industry and technology prowess along with IBM solutions to assist enterprises in tackling various challenges, such as rising costs associated with artificial intelligence readiness, cloud governance, and architecture modernization.
Partnership Details
Cognizant has introduced extensions to its Skygrade and Flowsource platforms, specifically tailored to integrate with IBM's Apptio, Turbonomic, watsonx.governance, and watsonx Code Assistant for Z. These solutions aim to unite Cognizant's engineering capabilities with IBM's tools to facilitate businesses in transitioning to modern architectures and streamlining cloud management operations.

- FinOps: The objective here is to offer visibility and accountability over cloud costs, optimize usage, and make real-time production adjustments to eliminate waste in multi-cloud environments.
- AI Governance: The aim is to responsibly implement and drive AI governance for enterprises, leveraging watsonx.governance to ensure fairness and transparency in AI systems. This includes integrating tools for AI quality and compliance capabilities into development and operations processes.
