Baskin Robbins to debut AI-infused tropical flavor
SPC Group, the Korean operator of Baskin Robbins, announced on Wednesday that they are preparing to introduce a new ice cream flavor that was co-developed with Google's artificial intelligence model Gemini. The upcoming flavor, named Tropical Summer Play, marks Baskin Robbins' first venture globally in utilizing AI technology to craft an ice cream flavor. This strategic move is part of the company's plan to incorporate AI and big data analytics into the food sector.
A spokesperson from the Korean operator highlighted the significance of this endeavor, stating, "Through this project, we have confirmed the potential of integrating next-gen AI into our new product development." The spokesperson further added, "This innovative amalgamation of technology and creative concepts will not only deliver delightful products to our customers but also provide them with unique and unparalleled experiences."
Debut at Workshop by Baskin Robbins
The highly-anticipated new flavor is scheduled to launch on Monday at Workshop by Baskin Robbins, a dedicated research facility and flagship store situated at the group's main office in southern Seoul.
