OpenAI extends deep research feature to all paid ChatGPT users
Tech giant OpenAI has recently announced that all paying ChatGPT users worldwide will now have access to its deep research feature, a web surfing agent that generates comprehensive research reports. This update marks a significant expansion of access to a tool that was previously restricted to a select group of members.
The announcement was made on OpenAI's official X account, where they stated, "Deep research is now rolling out to all ChatGPT Plus, Team, Edu, and Enterprise users."
Increased Access and Allocations
Under this new rollout, ChatGPT Plus, Team, Enterprise, and Edu plan users will now receive 10 deep research queries each month. 
Furthermore, the Deep Research tool, initially exclusive to ChatGPT Pro users on the $200/month premium plan, will see an increased allocation of 120 deep research enquiries per month, up from the initial 100 at launch as per OpenAI information.
Evolution of Deep Research
OpenAI introduced Deep Research, an AI-powered application, on February 3rd, enabling users to conduct detailed research using ChatGPT. Initially available only to ChatGPT Pro users with a monthly cap of 100 queries, OpenAI later announced plans to extend support to Plus and Team users, and subsequently to Enterprise users.
