Oh Friendica I wish you were more baked. Friendica.world recently went down because the software wasn’t yet designed to scale up so much. The fact that so many people still use Meta products is mind-boggling. Then again, with how many people need to use AI to write a standard work email I guess it should be no surprise. No one ever went broke by underestimating the intelligence of US citizens - or something to that effect.
Meta apps/services are spyware and social engineering, and they’re barely trying to hide it at this point. TBH they could say it out loud and like 1% of people would delete the apps.
