Hailing from Pune, Dhariwal has been widely acclaimed for his exceptional academic and scientific accomplishments. His brilliance was evident from an early age when he secured the National Talent Search Scholarship from the Government of India in 2009. The same year, he achieved a gold medal at the International Astronomy Olympiad held in China. Dhariwal continued his winning streak with gold medals at the International Mathematical Olympiad in 2012 and the International Physics Olympiad in 2013.

Dhariwal's academic track record is equally impressive, including scoring 295 out of 300 in the physics-chemistry-mathematics (PCM) group during his Class XII examinations.
