The partnership with The Washington Post will focus on highlighting journalism covering politics, global affairs, business, technology, and more. The content will always be attributed clearly with direct links to the full articles, allowing users to delve deeper into various topics.
Peter Elkins-Williams, head of global partnerships at The Washington Post, expressed that offering their impactful reporting through ChatGPT aligns with the newspaper's commitment to providing information in a way that suits their audience's preferences.
Varun Shetty, head of media partnerships at OpenAI, mentioned that ChatGPT is used by over 500 million people weekly for answering a wide range of questions. The platform reached 400 million weekly active users in February.
