Google is working on a much-needed Gemini feature
Last month, Google rolled out a YouTube Music extension for Gemini. Now, it appears that Spotify is the next music streaming service to see Gemini support in the near future.

What does the YouTube Music extension in Gemini do?
Essentially, you can use it to find music, start radio stations, and more, all through the Google Gemini AI chatbot experience. With Spotify integration coming soon, it’s expected to work in a similar fashion.
Current Status
If you’re expecting to make use of this Spotify extension right now, you’re out of luck. While it’s hidden in the code, it is not currently live or usable. It may be a while before we see the Spotify support go live. But this is still the first third-party service that has been integrated into Gemini, which is a significant development.
For those unfamiliar with Gemini extensions, these tools allow Google Gemini to access more information from other apps and services to provide enhanced AI results.

Future Implications and Innovations
Google is continuously working on improving its AI-powered chatbot Gemini to better understand the world and its users. The company recently introduced Gemini Live, enabling users to have in-depth voice chats with Gemini on their smartphones. Additionally, Google is expanding Gemini model capabilities to various platforms, ensuring a more integrated and seamless AI experience for users.
Google's commitment to enhancing AI technology is evident through its various initiatives like the Gemini Education suite and the integration of Gemini models across different products and services, including Google Maps Platform for developers.
