WhatsApp to launch Meta AI widget for quick access on home screens
WhatsApp is developing a new feature that will allow users to access Meta AI directly from their home screens, bypassing the need to open the app. This feature was discovered in the latest WhatsApp beta version 2.25.1.27 for Android.
The upcoming Meta AI widget is designed to provide users with quicker and easier access to Meta AI. Once launched, users will be able to initiate conversations with Meta AI directly from their home screens, eliminating the need to open the WhatsApp app and navigate its interface.
One of the key features of the widget is the ability to quickly capture and share photos with Meta AI. Users will be able to ask the AI to assist with tasks such as photo editing, content analysis, or answering questions related to the image.
The widget will be available to users who have access to AI-powered chats, which are currently limited to specific countries and users. It will be listed alongside other WhatsApp widgets, allowing users to add it to their home screens for easy access.
Customizable AI chatbots within WhatsApp
