Meta AI Introduced On WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Messenger ...
Meta has launched Meta AI in India, which is now available in English on popular social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and Messenger. This announcement was made at Connect 2023, where the company unveiled its AI models for these apps.
Features of Meta AI:
Users of Meta apps can leverage the power of Meta AI for various tasks including text and image generation. The AI tool, powered by Llama 3, offers a wide range of capabilities. Some examples of its usage include suggesting places to visit, creating multiple-choice question tests, and generating images for different scenarios.
The AI chat assistant is also integrated into the Facebook feed, allowing users to seek more information about posts that interest them.
On Instagram, Meta AI can recommend Reels to users, enhancing their experience on the platform. Meanwhile, on WhatsApp, users can utilize Meta AI in both group and individual chats, albeit with limited contextual understanding.
Enhanced Functionality:
Besides text interactions, users have the option to produce images by providing prompts prefixed with 'imagine'. These images can then be animated, offering a creative outlet for users to express themselves.

If users find an image they love, they can ask Meta AI to animate it or collaborate with friends to modify the image by altering the prompt.
Meta AI also includes a text-to-image generation tool, enabling users to create images in real-time and animate them into GIFs on WhatsApp and web platforms.
Additionally, users can access Meta AI on meta.ai, where they can summon the AI assistant for various tasks such as answering queries, text summarization, proofreading, editing, and translation.
Real-Time Results:
Meta AI has the capability to retrieve real-time results from popular search engines like Google and Microsoft Bing. The testing of Meta AI began in April across social media apps, with the delayed release likely due to the general elections in India.
This launch follows the introduction of the Google Gemini app in nine Indian languages, showcasing Meta's commitment to enhancing user experiences in the region.
