How have you used reverse interviewing to improve an idea?
I’ve been using ChatGPT’s advanced voice mode to help me write. Instead of asking it to write for me, though, I like to flip the script and have it ask *me* questions. It will ask me useful (and sometimes hilarious/surprising) questions that help pull out and shape an idea. Then I'll go write a first draft myself and edit it in Type.ai. It's pretty magical.

This month, one of my projects gained visibility; it's about recreating stories of characters from Afro-Brazilian and indigenous cultures in the form of comic books created by AI. On the 25th, I will be in São Paulo for a Microsoft event. My English is basic and I'm worried about talking to people there, but I realized that using ChatGPT in voice mode makes it possible to talk and understand a conversation when I'm walking around. It will be interesting.

Helping your kids with homework has never been easier, thanks to AI. It’s not just about getting the right answer—it’s about understanding how to arrive at it. In our family, we use ChatGPT to guide our daughter through her assignments, and it’s been a game changer.
Here’s how we do it:
We prompt the AI with something like this: "Hi, please help me assist my daughter with this problem. We’d like you to walk through each step, breaking it down so a 7th grader can easily understand. Thank you. Take a deep breath—you got this! You’re amazing, and you know the entire internet." (Yes, being polite, positive, and encouraging really does help the AI deliver better responses!)
We then either copy and paste the math, English, or science problem, or we take a picture and circle the specific area we want the AI to focus on.
What we get back from the AI (ChatGPT) is a clear, step-by-step explanation that helps our daughter learn and understand the material at an incredible pace. Integrating this into her homework routine has been nothing short of transformative.

I'm still impressed with how useful ChatGPT is for planning family holidays and summer activities. What used to take hours with an internet search now takes moments with Gen AI.
My partner and I are planning a last-minute family trip to Holland, but we had no idea what to do. ChatGPT has quickly given us a great outline to work from.
Use cases like this are still the best ways for people to become familiar with AI. Trust me. Figuring out how to apply the tech at work is easy once you're using it in your everyday life. And as marketers, it will also give you a powerful insight into how your customers are using AI in their own lives.
